About Me

Hi there! My name is Meghan and I’m a 28 year old single female living in Baltimore. I currently work as an Event Coordinator, and am a dog mom to an adorable Beagle/Shih Tzu mix named Addy. In December of 2019 I received a life saving liver transplant thanks to the generosity of my living donor, my uncle Mark. Transplant has by far been the most difficult and humbling experience of my life, and has completely motivated me to live life to the absolute fullest.

I was born and raised in Maryland, and despite recently buying a house in the city and setting down some roots, I have a passion for exploring the world. I have a background of working in hotels, and have explored quite a number of different cities and countries, always planning my own travel and itineraries. I’ve gotten many questions over the years about how I afford my travel, how I choose where and when to go, and how I select where I stay and the things that I do. I decided to start this blog in order to address these questions, my transplant experience, and more!

This site is not about “making moves” in the dating sense (like my mom seemed to believe I was talking about), but rather focuses on my transplant journey and travel experiences. I’ll throw in a dash of health & wellness tips, a little fashion, some home decorating tips, and maybe even share a dating story or two to keep things interesting. 😉
